Coliseum of Comics in the Orlando Fashion Square Mall has been our families go-to spot for comics for awhile. The owner is very nice and very knowledgeable about everything that is in the store. He also supports indie comics, which is an added bonus. Now that we've moved to Lake County, we are lucky to live near this Coliseum of Comics, with the same owner!

The store is very well organized and very clean. Sometimes when I go to a comic book store, I am either ignored by the staff, or I feel like I'm not up to snuff because I am not an all-knowing comic book fan. Not the case here. They are warm and welcoming, but not hovering. The staff will discuss comics and games with you if you like and they will give you recommendations without ever making it seem like a bad thing that you don't know which issue Batman died in, of which various story line, with which artist drawing him. (Okay, I don't know if that ever happened....but I hear people talking about these things, so I'm going with it.) My point is, this is the store for those who love comics, those who like comics, and those who just want to know what all this comic stuff is about!
